A curious parable painted in ochres and umbers, this work stages two elongated, puppet-like figures in a quiet, absurd exchange. One, with an exaggerated profile, extends a modest white bloom toward a wind-tossed companion, their red garments slicing through the earth-toned gloom. Floating eyes and a serried tooth lend the scene a dream logic, suggesting hidden witnesses and playful menace. The surface balances smooth glazing with textured brushwork, yielding both depth and tactile warmth. Evocative of surrealist wit and expressionist feeling, the composition marries gentle humour with a faint, intimate unease.
