Jarosław Kiełczyński , 2025

70×50 cm

Acrylic on canvas

In this whimsical tableau, the artist conjures a surreal dance between figure and sky, teetering on the brink of absurdity. A tall, enigmatic figure, reminiscent of fantastical creatures from Dalí's dreamscapes, commands the scene with elongated limbs and a vibrant, cerulean mask. Their fishing rod—a green tendril reaching towards a curious, floating visage—stretches across a serene ocean mirroring the ethereal sky, creating an uncanny illusion of reality and reflection. The palette, dominated by impassioned blues and poignant reds, enhances the dreamlike quality, inviting a playful yet contemplative mood. Here, the boundary between fantasy and existence blurs, capturing the viewer in an intricate web of profound wit and imaginative wonder.
