Anna Sobczak , 2025

70Γ—50 cm

Acrylic on canvas

In this captivating tableau of vivid imagination and chromatic exuberance, gravity becomes a mere suggestion as stones defy the terrestrial pull, floating whimsically above a kaleidoscopic rocky beach. The artist skillfully orchestrates a visual symphony where hues of turquoise, coral, and amethyst dance together with striking vivacity. Echoes of surrealism blend seamlessly with abstract expressionism, creating a landscape that is both otherworldly and familiar.

Each stone, lovingly rendered with textured brushwork, becomes a celestial body in a universe of its own, inviting the viewer to ponder the delicate balance between chaos and harmony. The depth is palpable, as layers unfold with dynamic twists, drawing the eye upwards into a sky charged with pastel dreams. In this piece, contemplation and wonder are not mere spectators but active participants in the visual journey.
