Anna Sobczak , 2025

70×50 cm

Acrylic on canvas

In the ethereal embrace of this celestial masterpiece, the viewer is immediately drawn into the enchanting dance between earth and sky. The artist masterfully juxtaposes the towering gothic spires of a cathedral with the surreal, suspended fragments of vivid amethyst and azure. These floating shards, reminiscent of both cosmic entities and earthly minerals, create a dreamscape that teeters on the edge of reality and fantasy. The palette, a symphony of blues and purples, infuses the scene with a mystical aura, while the interplay of light and shadow adds a dramatic intensity. Echoing elements of surrealism and fantastical realism, this work invites the observer to ponder the delicate balance between the divine and the terrestrial, leaving one in a state of contemplative wonder.
