Artur Płachta , 2026

40×60 cm

Oil on canvas

A vibrant whirlwind of whimsy and motion gallops across this canvas, inviting the viewer into a world where fantasy and reality delightfully entwine. The composition showcases two riders, brought to life through a playful palette of reds, yellows, and blues, reminiscent of the lively spirit of folk art. The rhythmic stripes and bold patterns evoke a sense of motion, pulling us into the scene with an irresistible charm.

As the horse and swan-like creature intertwine in a dance of innocence, one can't help but detect a wink to the whimsical narratives found in Chagall's dreamlike works. The sky brushes with azure and white, providing a gentle yet dynamic backdrop that contrasts with the earthy greens of the foreground. An enchanting exploration of imagination, this piece playfully challenges the viewer to embrace the joyful absurdity of the everyday.
