Acrylic on canvas

Presented is a disciplined hymn to chromatic progression, a panel of vertical bands that slide from ardent crimson through dusky mauves into a cool lapis, and finally to muted greens and warm creams. The surface reads as both matte and tactile, each stripe subtly modulated so that adjacency creates fleeting optical vibrations. The composition balances minimalist rigor with painterly warmth, recalling color field and hard-edge experiments while retaining a contemporary sense of restraint. Its calm geometry invites lingering, revealing how slight shifts in hue and value orchestrate a quiet drama, elegant and sly, like a restrained chorus that insists on being felt rather than heard.

About the author
Agnieszka Filipczuk is a contemporary visual artist working within the realm of geometric abstraction. Her work focuses on the subtlety of form, a delicate color palette, and spatial harmony. In her abstract compositions, she blends intuition, emotion, and a sensitivity to light, creating images with a calm, contemplative quality. Her pieces bring a sense of balance, lightness, and timeless aesthetics to interiors. Agnieszka Filipczuk’s work has been exhibited in both Poland and Italy. In 2026, her art was featured in a solo exhibition titled "Almost Summer" at the historic Palazzo Marchetti in Malfa on the island of Salina. The artist has also participated in group exhibitions and auctions of emerging art organized by DESA Unicum in Warsaw, one of Poland’s leading auction houses. Her works are part of the contemporary art market across many European countries. Her creative practice evolves at the intersection of geometric abstraction, Mediterranean landscapes, light, and emotion.
